Solar Energy International (SEI) along with Delta County Economic Development (DCED), and Empowered Energy Systems are proud to announce the launch of the Solarize Delta County.
The Solarize Delta County program is an expanded effort of the very successful 2015 Solarize the North Fork Valley program, that resulted in over $400,000 in local investment in solar with 22 residential systems installed totaling 120kW. Leveraging new partnerships, financing, and a team of Solar Ambassadors, Solarize Delta County will not only expand the benefits of “going solar” to more county residents, but also galvanize the community around a bigger vision of local energy independence and renewable energy as a means of economic revitalization.
“DCED is pleased to be partnering with SEI and Empowered Energy Systems on this initiative. We feel that this supports our local economy having a direct and immediate impact on our communities with job creation and keeping funds local. It just makes sense to bring Solarize to the entire county,” said Trish Thibodo, Director of Delta County Economic Development.
